OK, I'M SORRY

contrary to my blog title, i don't shut up. so anyway, i just saw this and thought it was typical/funny. November 12, 2008. It's the last night launch of the Space Shuttle that they are retiring the program so we were going to drive over to the coast to see it. We were going to pick up my sister at the airport on the way, but thats her story not mine. So we get on the "BeachLine Expressway" and immediately get stuck in traffic of everyone else doing the exact same thing. We drive over as far as the exit for the "Mid Florida Reception Center (as in "a prison" i think) and pull off because theres no way we will make it all the way to the coast in time. we park and get the kids out and get the camera set up on a tripod and i get my great picture of the launch:

Which, although the launching shuttle screaming heavenward, pushing away is in frame, you can plainly tell that I thought the street light was the Shuttle. _Pausing for Applause_ It was fun though, with wife and kids, and then we went to the airport to pick up my sister. And the orlando airport stunk. If you note the date and search the twitter timeline, you will see my comment to that effect. Heres another picture for you, note the wise choice of powerlines to add dramatic tension. Tension. I slay.

Ok, now i found one thats even worse. No shuttle in sight, me trying to track the tripod to keep it in shot and i took two or three choice light portraits.
